I should play more but got other things to do ^^, I will certainely try harder tommorow to put more hands in. Up $400.0 today ($298 ev adjusted) although perhaps lucky to find some donks at the table, such as the one in this hand.
I studied computer science and supported myself financially by playing online poker. After graduating debt free in 2009 I worked as a software developer for 5 months where I put all the money I earnt into a long gold position with a tight stop loss and was stopped out and was broke. I then took out a loan and enrolled myself on a trading course with a proprietary firm in London. After 4 weeks they offered me a place on their floor and I traded spreads or more precisely scalped the spread between the euribor and the schatz as well as the bund/bobl/schatz fly. I ended up getting ill abroad and it cost me a fortune and such frustrations from life caused me to blow £5000 of profit in about 1 week. I resumed 4 months later and recouped most of it in 2 months. I then quit to go to Hong Kong and traded both spreads and outrights in AUS, US and German Bonds as well as some soybeans, unfortunately i lost my first months profits to a really big move in the ten year and felt i didnt have enough living funds to carry on. I ended up teaching english for close to 6 years, now i am back in UK and I am trading commodities in a rented office on my own account.
